A couple weeks ago, the remix package to David Guetta’s massive single “Titanium”, surfaced. This track is arguably one of the better tracks of Disc 1. The artists that were chosen to remix this one-of-a-kind track happened to be some of the fastest rising young guns in the industry. Although these guys may be young, their talent is far superior to most other artists in the industry. The artists that make up this remix package include Alesso, Nicky Romero, Arno Cost, Cazzette, and Gregori Klosman. The winner of this package, in our opinion, goes to the 19-year-old Swedish superstar, Alesso. His remix is beautiful! I cant get over how good the vocals in this track truly are, and it seems that Alesso’s remix is centered around them. All of the remixes are very unique and very different; so make sure to check each one out! When this package first surfaced, there were only four remixes and just recently David Guetta decided to add another to the list. Our good friends, Cazzette, were added to this package as well. What sets them apart besides their crazy remixes is their absurd title… Either way make sure to check them all out!
Another opinion, from Gordon:
I would have to say my favorite of the bunch is Gregori Klosman’s. He uses some great piano riffs and an amazing melodic breakdown that you don’t usually see from him. My second favorite would be Arno Cost’s rework of the track. He brings his classic old school melodic synths in to the track and really makes it one to savor. Alesso’s remix is good but not great. I kind of got a feeling that his sound isn’t evolving enough as it should be and most of his work is beginning to sound the same after listening to his remix, but that’s just my opinion.
