Concert Review: Klaas at Rich’s 6/3/2011

While I am on my mini vacation out here in Houston, I will be covering a few shows and letting you all know how everything goes! The guys from 77002.com NightCulture and Freakboy Productions have invited me to come check out their events while I am in town. Over the next few weeks that I’m out here, I will be covering 3 of the events, which include Klaas, Morgan Page, and Avicii. The first concert was the German DJ Klaas, at Rich’s Nightclub. When I found out I was going to be hitting up this show, I didn’t quite know what to expect because I didn’t know much about the DJ. This guy has remixed Global Deejays, Armand Van Helden, Eddie Thoneick, Michael Mind, and many more. His breakout year was in 2008 when he remixed Infinity 2008, which reached #1 in several different countries. As Klaas walked up on stage, the dance floor immediately got crowded and everyone was eager to see him perform. The second he got up  I could tell he was gonna bring the heat, and he did. I wasn’t sure what his set would be like, but he ended up dropping everything from House to  Hip Hop. His transitions were flawless and his remixes were amazing. After seeing him live, I have nothing but great things to say about him. I am really looking forward to working with 77002.com NightCulture and Freakboy Productions these next few weeks, so stay tuned for more event coverage.
