I am new to Wolfgang Gartner and I love the new sounds that are coming with his music. It seems like he is definitely on the rise right now. He just collaborated on a song with Deadmau5, which was posted a few days ago. I believe his most well known song is Undertaker, which is unreal. He certainly has a very distinct sound that my ears are attracted to. It’s pretty dirty electronic music, but certainly nowhere near dubstep. Above is the official music video for Far East Movement- Like A G6 (feat. Cataracs & Dev). It’s a pretty sick music video so I suggest you check it out. If you haven’t heard this song already, you are way behind schedule. If you have heard this song to many times before, and are over it, check out this sick remix by Miami Ski Team, which is an awesome name. Thanks to PrivateParty for introducing me to this.
A bunch of my friends went on a trip to Europe over the summer, and when they came back, this is what they showed me: We No Speak Americano. At first I didn’t know what to think of it, but I soon realized why everybody over there loved it. In my opinion, it just screams, “I’m European and I’m in a club!”. After hearing the original a couple of times, I stumbled across this mashup at chubbybeavers. How can I not post this?
Katy Perry is hot and her chest is blessed. Yes, I just said that. Cool your jets, I’m just stating the obvious here. Also, and maybe more important, her music is liked by millions! She’s a huge pop star here in America, as well as across the globe. She has managed to win the hearts of the 13 year-olds, the 20 year-olds, and everything in between. Good work girl! The DJ’s and producers who decide to remix mainstream hits such as this one, are making good decisions. No surprise that Kaskade does a fabulous job remixing Teenage Dream. Please look into purchasing on iTunes!
When I first saw the music video for this song on MTV, I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. It featured members from the Jersey Shore reality T.V. show, as they pranced around like little superstars. I didn’t think highly of the song, or the music video. The video especially, seemed extremely corny. What I also realized about this this song is that it is about as a catchy as they come. So, what does this mean? It means that it’s the perfect song to throw on at a party to take it to the next level. Enrique will get the girls dancing.
Wow, Kasakde has just been cranking these mashups out one after another. I gotta give him props for releasing all of these tracks in such a timely fashion. Each one has been a fun mashup to listen to thus far. Some of them have definitely been better than others, but overall, they are all pretty darn good! If you have never heard the original Alex Gaudino- I’m In Love (Original Mix), you gotta get it because it’s an awesome song that gets you hooked from the start. Enjoy another awesome mashup from Kaskade, and to Kaskade: keep killing it my dude!
If you are reading this post right now, go ahead and give yourself a big pat on the back, because you are about to get hold of a song that is just so friggin HUGE. If you already know about this song, then give yourself another pat on the back with your other hand because YOU ARE just awesome. This song randomly popped up the other day, and I had never heard it before. I simply fell in love with it as I listened to it the very first time. Now, I have listened to it so many times in the past two days. I am totally hooked on it. It sounds just like Deadmau5- Strobe. Adam K & Soha killed it once again. Please get this track!
This song was uploaded to our drop box (bottom right sidebar). Although it’s not new, its an awesome remix done by professionals: Mysto & Pizzi. The video above shows Mysto & Pizzi making the remix to this song. It’s kinda corny, but if you can get over their glasses, its actually pretty cool to see how these guys made the mix. If you are a fan of the original Knock You Out (feat. Emily Haines), then you will love this remix.
The French all-star teams up with the Dutch wonder to produce a song that is so much Louder Than Words, whatever that means… This track is actually pretty good. I would give it a high 7, or an 8, out of 10. I would like it to be at least a high 8 though because as I’m listening to it, the vocals sound too good to be true. The thing that gets me is the drop. If the drop really dropped, and was followed by a massive explosion of electronic discharge right after, I would lose it. I love when the drop is just so massive I can’t believe it. I think this duo could probably make it happen if they wanted to. But honestly, who am I to judge? I’m just The Nation.
This is Axwell’s latest and greatest dance floor hit, which features Errol Reid. Or at least I wanted it to be. I think Axwell is an incredible producer, but this song does not hit it hard enough for me! The classic mix is plain and dull. After searching all over the place for better remixes of this song, I finally came across one that I thought was better than all the rest, but still could not pick this track up to where I would like it to be. Maybe its just me, but I was expecting something massive from Axwell, and I didn’t get it! I still think Axwell is the man, but Nothing But Love (feat. Errol Reid) is just mediocre to me.
Update: I have listened to this song about 6 times a day for the past couple of days. It’s pretty sick. Things change. Peace.
